Welcome to Week 1 of the LinkedIn Challenge! This week we're laying the foundation for your Getting Clients Routine — and it starts with one simple (but powerful) task: building your Ideal Clients List and plugging it into a tracker.

💡 Why this matters
If you've ever opened LinkedIn and thought, "...what am I even supposed to do here?" — this list is the answer. ✨
Your Ideal Clients List isn't busywork. It's your:
- 🎯 Target list of aligned, validated leads. You'll focus only on companies that can actually hire you and need your work.
- 💻 Guide for your weekly LinkedIn routine. So you're never logging in wondering who to reach out to — you'll know exactly where to focus.
- 🔍 North star for your profile optimization (that's next week). Because when you know who you want to attract, you can write your profile for them.

🛠️ What to do this week
Step 1: Work through the Creating Your Ideal Clients List lesson in the FRL. It walks you through exactly how to figure out who your ideal clients are and where to find them.
Step 2: Fill out your Ideal Clients List using the Ideal Clients Tracker. Instructions for duplicating the template and bulk importing your list are at the bottom of the FRL lesson. Not a Notion person? There's a Trello version in that lesson too, plus instructions for setting up alternatives. This doesn't need to be complicated!
Step 3: Add at least 200 companies this week. I know 200 sounds like a lot — but with the resources in that lesson, you should have no problem hitting that number.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Think of it as "window shopping" for your future clients. This whole process should take about 2 hours if you follow the lesson.
- You just need company names to start. No job titles, no deep research, no website visits — just pull names from the sources I walk you through.
- This is a list you'll use for the next 2+ years, so it's big on purpose. You can always add more (and remove some) as you go.
If it's taking longer than a couple of hours, reach out — I'm here to help. This should be an efficient process, not an agonizing one.

📣 A reminder
This doesn't have to be perfect. It's totally normal to feel a little unsure when you're getting started. We'll keep refining and adding to your list throughout the Challenge.
Just start. 💖
