LinkedIn is my fave way to get clients because you’re essentially sending warm pitches (instead of cold pitches – unlike email, though that can be helpful too!).
On LinkedIn, I like to send connection requests and add a note (that’s what I call an LOI or letter of introduction). This is a casual way to grow a network that supports your business, rather than cold-pitching your services constantly.
You’ll start off with a casual, personalized note and then move into pitching a couple weeks after you connect. Before you can send LOIs, though, you need to get your profile in shape to show what an amazing freelancer you are!
