Yes. But I have 3 quick disclaimers I’d love for you to know before you schedule your discovery call.

1. If you’re not based in a predominantly english speaking country and you want to work with companies who primarily work and market their products in english, you will have a harder time getting clients. There is a global prejudice that truly cannot be ignored or avoided. I don’t like it or approve of it. But I recognize and accept that it exists. I can do my best to help you get clients with the methods that have worked for me and my coaching clients. But I can never guarantee that they will work for you, and if you’re based outside of the “global north” you will have to work harder. I’m really sorry, but it’s true. I wish my coaching could magically fix that but it can’t. So just understand this before you invest, please! I’m happy to chat about it in a discovery call with you more.
2. Consider your time zone before signing up! I’m typically available for 1:1 coaching calls on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10 am - 4 pm ET.
3. The tax, contract, and business setup information that I teach may not be compatible with your home country. That’s something you need to ensure you prepare for yourself if you’re outside of the US.

Yes! I usually have 2 steady freelance digital marketing clients and 1 quarterly ad hoc project at a time. I feel like I can’t be a good coach if I’m not actively freelancing.

The industry, how pitching and networking works, and tech features change so much every year! It wouldn’t be fair to coach without actively freelancing.

On average, my 1:1 coaching clients earn ~$2,200 per client per month. 1:1 Express, my most popular package, costs $1,995 and is designed to help you get at least 1 client by the end.

I can’t make any guarantees but I always do my best to make sure you’re empowered and equipped to get at least 1 new client during our coaching contract.

It really truly depends on your situation, the clients you end up getting, and your efforts.

I’ve had students get their first client in just 21 days. I’ve seen it happen in 3 months. I’ve also seen it take as long as 6 months – I’m not going to lie to you.

But then those clients could pay in as few as 14 days from when you submit your work to them or up to 90 days. On average, it takes ~30 days to get paid.

There are some instances when you might want to charge up front for your services. But the majority of the time, you’ll charge after you submit your deliverable or get a deposit for 20-50% up front and then get the rest after your work is done.

My programs are designed to help you get clients ASAP and get paid in ~30 days from when you submit your work to those clients as long as you put in the prescribed work as consistently as possible.

But I can’t make any guarantees because there are so many factors that go into getting clients and getting paid.

Personally, I got my first client with the methods that I teach in 21 days and I got paid 15 days after I submitted my first deliverable. So from when I started networking on LinkedIn to when I got my first payout was ~45 days.

A.I. is a fantastic shortcut – but a shortcut is only a shortcut if you know where you’re going. Of course, there are some businesses that will solely rely on generic, regurgitated A.I. copy. And choose NOT to invest in creating genuine engagement and connection with their customers. But – news flash – these businesses existed long before A.I. came on the scene.

And for that, they need – you guessed it. Freelance writers. That’s why in my 1:1 coaching program, I’ll teach you the specific skills and tools you need to get started and craft messaging that today’s businesses need and today’s audiences yearn for.

I'll also help you learn to use AI as the assistant it should be. To save you time, brain power, and money. It has it's place! And it's not going to eliminate real human writers any time soon.

The strategies and formulas I teach are practical systems that will help you create a sustainable successful business – not just flimsy ways to get you one client or write a sales page. The techniques I teach you to run your business are proven formulas that have worked to generate full-time incomes for over 200 students so far.

For long-term 1:1 coaching (Express or Accelerator), you’ll spend 50 mins each week in 1:1 sessions – unless we skip a week. You’ll be expected to spend up to 5 hours each week on work outside of coaching to build your business.

If you can do more than that, amazing! I’ll help you make a prioritized to do list accordingly either way.

Once you get clients, it’ll depend on the work you get. But typically I recommend part-time freelancers plan to spend at least 10 hours per week on their business and full time freelancers should plan to spend around 30 hours per week.

Again, the time you spend once you get clients will depend on your goals, your rates, the clients and work you get, etc.

1:1 coaching is completely customized to you and your needs.

Whether or not you have paid experience, a portfolio is an absolute must if you want to get started as a freelance writer.

First name / Writer, your samples don’t have to come from client work — as a new writer, what clients need to know is that you can write. More importantly — that you understand the big picture.

In 1:1 Express or Accelerator, I’ll teach you how to craft your portfolio for your ideal clients so that when they see it they’ll think, “OMG they’re perfect for us!”

You won’t just walk away from the program with an impressive portfolio, but a deep understanding of how to write for your ideal clients. So you can impress the socks off your first client (and all the ones you get after).

After that, I’ll make a plan to help you revamp or launch your business and we’ll follow that loosely throughout the rest of the program (if you chose a 1:1 intensive, I’ll make you a 3-month plan that you’ll follow on your own).
