I'm here to help you milk your time and energy for all it's worth. And applying for gigs on linkedin (through the jobs section or via posts) is the least efficient way to spend your time.

So I’m giving you permission right now to stop applying for gigs & freelance jobs on LinkedIn.

Turn off those job alert notifications. Stop trying to get gigs only from commenting on LinkedIn posts and job listings.

Listen, I'm not saying you CAN'T get gigs from these things. Obviously, SOMEONE is getting hired for those, and that person could be you.

🗣️ What I AM saying is: this is EMPLOYEE behavior.

If you want a successful, sustainable, low-stress life as a freelancer, you need to start acting like the BUSINESS OWNER that you are.

Whether you like it (or realize it) or not, freelancers are business owners.

Big businesses have sales teams, marketing teams, principals, systems, referrals, and affiliate programs.

All these things get them clients (or customers).

YOU have to be all of that for yourself.

But it's not as hard as you might think!

That's why I created the Get Clients Guidebook.

It's all of that wrapped into a 30-60min daily routine that builds momentum and helps you get clients QUICKLY and CONSISTENTLY.

🥵 I know people who spend 90 mins a day going through the job alert emails form LinkedIn, applying for gigs on LinkedIn, and commenting on posts to try to get gigs – competing with hundreds of other people and not landing clients for MONTHS.

😁 I also know people who started spending 30 mins a day using the Get Clients Guidebook and getting their first client in as few as 21 days with no previous experience as a freelancer, writer, or digital marketer.

🥳 I also know someone who's been freelancing for ten years who was spending an hour a day applying for freelance gigs on LinkedIn. → She switched to reaching out to people she was already connected with using the templates in the Get Clients Guidebook last week. → In ONLY 1 WEEK, she's gotten 7 discovery calls set up and even a lead on someone who wants to work with her! 2 weeks later, she was fully booked through January.

When you go out and ATTRACT your ideal clients through no-pressure direct outreach, genuine connection (a.k.a. networking), and referrals – you've got clients coming from 3 channels CONSISTENTLY.

Okay, now BUCKLE UP here. I'm not here to make you feel bad. I'm here to pep you up.

So please know, I'm not yelling at you in a mean way - I'm hoping you see this as a helpful callout... 💖

When you CHASE work through applications and posts, you are WAITING and HOPING desperately for someone to GIVE you work – when you, as a BUSINESS OWNER, should be GOING OUT AND GETTING clients.

THAT IS YOUR JOB.

And you are 100% capable of spending 30-60 minutes a day doing that with an easy-to-implement system like the Get Clients Guidebook.

You're also in charge of your life and your business, so modify it to work for you if you're not vibing with it the way it is. Or find something else that works better!

But if you're spending over an hour a day trying to get gigs and you're not getting anything, you need to change what YOU'RE doing.

Okay, 😮‍💨 I hope that was helpful. Reach out and let me know?
