What to expect when you come on the Guidebook Podcast

If you've never guested on a podcast, you might not know what to expect. If you have, you know every podcast is a little bit different.

So here's what you need to know!

What we’ll talk about:

The Guidebook is a casual conversational podcast about entrepreneurship, adventure, and emotions. I won't be “formally” interviewing you. We'll just chat!

I typically ask the following but I'll customize these questions based on your application and we may talk about other things, too:

How you got started with your business and/or adventures
What your motivation / WHY is
Tips for others wanting to do the same thing
Your emotions during the risks you've taken
How you managed those emotions
How you financially are able to do what you do and your money mindset
What you're promoting right now - if anything

I love tangents and so does our audience, so don't be afraid to blab! We're here to have a conversation, not an interview.

Oh, and feel free to swear if that's in your vernacular!

Please come to our podcast recording session prepared for the following:

Recording: We record in Riverside and you'll get the link to our studio when you book your call. Please only join when it's your call time so as not to mess with the studio.
Microphones: If you have a microphone - amazing! Please use it! If not, a pair of chorded headphones with an inline mic works perfectly fine! ⚠️ Please do not use bluetooth earbuds or headphones or your computer's microphone. Sound quality is the number one reason people stop listening so it's important! I can recommend an affordable mic or chorded headphones w/ two day shipping if you need – just let me know!
Headphones: Please wear headphones so we don't have to worry about echoes.

Just so you know:

The video from our call will be used for our YouTube channel and short-form content on our social media platforms for promotion.
The show is *lightly* edited for content, comprehension, and filler words (likes/ums/etc.).
